Ketika kita sering mengatakan hal-hal seperti 'orang tidak akan pernah berubah', itu membuat beberapa orang berteriak protes. Karena perubahan secara harfiah adalah satu-satunya yang konstan dalam semua ilmu pengetahuan. Energi, materi, selalu berubah. Terlahir, tumbuh, mati.
Cara kita berpegang teguh pada hal-hal tertentu dan bukannya membiarkan mereka berubah menjadi diri mereka sendiri. Cara kita berpegang teguh pada kenangan lama, bukannya membentuk sebuah kenangan baru. Cara kita bersikeras percaya, meskipun setiap indikasi ilmiah mengatakan bahwa apa pun dalam hidup ini adalah permanen.
Perubahan adalah konstan, bagaimana kita melalui setiap step perubahan itu terserah kita. Hal ini akan terasa seperti sebuah kematian. Atau bisa terasa seperti kesempatan kedua dalam hidup.
Jika kita membuka jari-jari kita, mengendurkan genggaman, maka akan terasa seperti letupan adrenalin. Seperti setiap saat, kita dapat memiliki kesempatan lain dalam hidup. Seperti setiap saat, kita bisa dilahirkan sekali lagi.

Satu Senja Di Yogjakarta

Saya juga masih ingat senyum malu-malu si mahasiswi yang duduk di sebrang meja kami ketika si pacar hendak menyuapkan makanan kemulutnya. Dia tak menduga hingga beberapa saat dia sempat ragu, sebelum kemudian membuka mulut untuk menyambut sumpit dengan wajah merona merah dan wajah si lelaki pun tak kalah merah...

Sedangkan di meja saya...
Sempat tidak ada percakapan diantara kami, kami hanya saling melihat dan mengangguk ketika menganggap makanan yang kami coba enak.
Namun, sesekali dia menyeka sudut bibir saya yang berlepotan sisa makanan dengan ujung jarinya.

Saya tau mereka semua berbunga-bunga. Sama saja seperti saya ketika jatuh cinta. Bahkan sampai hari ini  :)
