life is full of hardships, millions of reasons to cry, loads of things to make us upset..sometims due to some reasons are really upset and think all the bad of our life…but don’t forget that this is our life..why we are always suffering due to things which happend in the past..due to this we destroy the time to enjoy our present..but if out try to forget…at least you will be happy in your future..past is past..never forget it…

Augush Rush

Salah satu film favoriteku adalah film ini, bukan hanya ceritanya yang bagus tapi music yang ada didalam film ini bisa membuatmu merinding mendengarnya. Film yang sangat mengharukan, aku menangis saat akhir cerita. Jadi tidak ada salahnya bila aku ceritakan sedikit tentang film ini.
Louis Connelly (John Rhys Meyers) adalah gitaris muda asal Irlandia yang sedang meniti karir sebagai anak band di New York. Namun cinta memang tidak berkasta dan bersuku, Louis dalam sebuah kesempatan, terlibat cinta kilat dengan dengan pemain cello bernama Lyla Novacek (Keri Russell) yang berasal dari keluarga konservatif yang ambisius. Namun hubungan mereka berakhir begitu saja, meski Louis masih jatuh cinta pada Lyla. Hasil hubungan keduanya melahirkan anak laki-laki bernama Evan Taylor (Freddie Highmore). Saat terlahir ke dunia, Evan ternyata diserahkan untuk diadopsi sang kakek yang tidak ingin karir Lyla terhambat.


Evan kemudian tumbuh menjadi anak panti asuhan. Dia terobsesi menemukan orangtuanya. Evan kemudian bertemu dengan pengamen cilik yang mengantarkan dirinya bertemu dengan Wizard (Robin Williams). Wizard lah yang menemukan bakat terpendam Evan di bidang musik. Wizard juga yang mengajarkan bahwa musik bisa mempertemukan orang. Hal ini kemudian dimanfaatkan Wizard untuk mendapatkan uang. Evan awalnya tidak keberatan disuruh mengamen karena ingin menemukan orangtuanya melalui musik.
Evan pun diberi nama panggung August Rush. Namun pihak panti asuhan kemudian melaporkan Wizard pada polisi sehingga Wizard dan anak-anak didiknya terpisah, termasuk Evan. Evan beruntung karena justru akhirnya terdampar di sekolah musik bergengsi, Julliard. Di sekolah itulah, August Rush maskin menguatkan tekadnya untuk memperdengarkan musiknya di depan umum agar bertemu dengan orangtuanya.

The Notes :
Film ini sama sekali bukan film musical. Film August Rush adalah film drama romantis yang berlatar musik apik dan keren yang digarap penata musik kelas Oscar Hans Zimmer. Musik yang dimainkan menjadi bagian penting dalam film ini. Beberapa bagian dalam film ini memperdengarkan score lagu yang utuh dan menyenangkan untuk dinikmati. Beberapa lagu di film ini berjenis gospel, sesuai dengan latar cerita saat August Rush menumpang tidur dip anti asuhan milik gereja.
Lagu yang paling menarik adalah lagu August Rhapsody yang komposisinya ditulis Mark Mancina dan memperdengarkan dominasi suara gitar yang tidak dipetik melainkan suara gitar yang dipukul. Dalam film ini, August Rush memang diceritakan menguasai alat musik gitar untuk pertama kali. Film berlatar musik seperti ini memang bukan hal baru. Film Music of the Heart, Sister Act, dan film Dangerous Mind’s memunyai sebuah benang merah yang sama yaitu musik bisa melembutkan hati manusia.

Meski bergenre drama romantis, namun film ini bukanlah sebuah film drama klise yang realistis atau malah over-realistis. Film ini lebih menyentuh jiwa penonton melalui musik, bukan melalui cerita drama romantis yang mendayu-dayu. Namun seperti juga sebuah film drama lainnya, banyak sekali kebetulan-kebetulan yang terjadi di dalam film ini. Aktor cilik Freddie Highmore bermain cemerlang dalam film ini.

Kehadiran Robin Williams yang berperan sebagai tokoh antagonis Wizard juga perlu mendapat acungan jempol. Peran klise dan kurang berkarakter justru diperlihatkan John Rhys Meyers yang aktingnya tidak berubah dan begitu-begitu saja sejak ikut ambil bagian dalam film Bend It Like Beckham dan Match Point. Tadinya peran Louis Connelly diproyeksikan sutradara Kirsten Sheridan untuk James Morrison, musisi pendatang baru berbakat yang tentu saja bisa memainkan alat musik. Namun sayang, James Morrison menolak peran ini dengan alasan hendak berkonsentrasi pada karir musiknya. Peran Wizard dalam film ini akan mengingatkan kita pada tokoh raja copet yang menguasai anak-anak kecil di film Oliver Twist.

Love is kind.

The easiest thing I ever done was fall in love with her. Finding the right person is not really a matter of finding.
It is more of a suprize then a search because if you are looking for the "one" you may find more disappointment than love. So my advice is enjoy the ride and don't let your goal of being loved influence you to fall for the wrong pair of arms.
Be patient and have fun.
When its the right person you will know... Life is short and love is precious.
Don't fall for anyone that will make you anything less than happy.
